Details

The application runs in two modes. The edit mode and the play mode.

Edit mode

While in edit mode, the user may import the texts (original, translation), edit them (corrections, reformatting) and design and adjust the titles. All these may be achieved in a friendly and visual enviroment by the use of the mouse. The whole text is always available with functions like searching, inserting, deleting, moving and so on. The titles are constructed with the use o a table, whose every row is a separate phrase to be projected in a caption.

The texts can be imported as simple text files (ASCII or Unicode) or as Microsoft Word documents.

Special comments can be attached on every line of the text, and the use of bookmarks for easy and quick navigation are available.

The title design is based on the system fonts installed, in every size that is available. With the use of shaddows and outlines more efficient results can be achieved. Finally the support for unicode fonts, makes the program capable of handling text in all possible languages.

Play mode

During play mode, the application enables only the functions that have to do with the projection, so that anyone with a simple knowledge on computers can use it. So, showing/hiding and switching captions is enabled, using simple keystrokes, while more 'advanced' functions like searching text, or navigating with bookmarks are available.

Special care has been taken for producing an error-free and very sophisticated system, mainly in the Play Mode, because it is common sense that in live performances, the audience depends on it, and every mistake or error, will be most obvious and annoying.
