Software and live surtitles, from the same team
We have been delivering surtitles since 2003. We built SuperTitles for that work, and we still operate shows with it. Houses can use the software on their own.

SuperTitles.gr was started in 2003 by Achilles and Chris Maroulis, after the National Theatre of Greece asked them to prepare surtitles for a tour to China. The first version of the software, written in Delphi, followed soon after. The work then was the events, and each season added something the booth had needed.
Not long after, the Athens and Epidaurus Festival asked us in as an outside partner, and the summers grew. Before long we were working with almost every large cultural house in Athens: the Athens Concert Hall, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Athens State Orchestra, Pallas Theatre, Olympia Municipal Theatre, and many more, along with companies visiting the city for a single production.
The team has grown with the work. Five regular partners now operate the software for clients, and a trusted network of more than twenty professional translators covers the languages a production needs. The first question is still the one from 2003: how can we help this play reach the audience?
